The Blackstone offers Full-Day and Half-Day rental options, with different services included with each. Full-Day Rentals: Full-Day rentals include the amenities listed with the package, as well as setup and takedown of the tables, chairs, and included décor. We will have the venue ready for your event, so you can focus on enjoying your day. Half-Day Rentals: Half-Day rentals include tables and chairs. Décor, linens, tabletop items, and other rentals are available as add-ons. Setup and takedown are also available as an add-on.
Full-Day rentals are designed to give you a more complete, stress-free experience. Your rental includes the amenities listed with the package, along with setup and takedown of the tables, chairs, and included décor. You are responsible for bringing in your vendors and personal items and making sure that anything you or your vendors bring into the venue is removed at the end of the event.
Half-Day rentals include tables, chairs, and the use of one area. Set up and take down happens during your rental period. Additional items such as table linens, centerpieces, tabletop décor, draping, signage, and other rentals can be added to your package. Setup and takedown are also available as an add-on. This allows you to bring in your own items or rent items from The Blackstone while having our team handle the setup and removal. Half Day events are only available Monday-Thursday.
Absolutely! You are welcome to bring your own decorations and personal items. For Half-Day rentals, you can either handle setup and takedown yourself or purchase our setup and takedown service. For Full-Day rentals, setup and takedown of the included tables, chairs, and décor is already included. If you would prefer to use your own decorations instead of the décor we provide, we can make that happen! We will simply need to coordinate the details with you in advance so our team knows exactly what needs to be set up and taken down. Additional items such as table linens, centerpieces, tabletop décor, draping, signage, and other rentals can be added to your package. Setup and takedown are also available as an add-on. If you do not purchase our cleanup and takedown service for a half day event, you will receive detailed cleanup instructions before your event. You will be responsible for cleaning up the areas used during your event and removing any personal items, decorations, rentals, or other items that you or your vendors brought into the venue. *Clean up is included in full day events.
Yes, but alcohol must be properly licensed and insured. If alcohol will be present or served at your event, you will be required to use a properly licensed alcohol provider and provide The Blackstone with the required documentation before your event. Any caterer, bartender, mobile bar, or other alcohol provider must comply with all applicable Idaho and local alcohol laws and obtain any required licenses or permits for the event. Idaho ABC has specific requirements for alcohol service at private events and catering events. The Blackstone also charges a $500 alcohol fee for events where alcohol is permitted. Is additional insurance required if we serve alcohol? Yes. Events serving alcohol will be required to carry appropriate liquor liability/host liquor liability coverage in addition to the required event liability insurance. The exact coverage requirements and limits will be provided as part of the booking process. The Blackstone may also require the venue to be listed as an additional insured.
Yes. Event liability insurance is required for all events to help protect you, your guests, and the venue. If alcohol will be served, additional liquor liability coverage will be required.
The Blackstone can accommodate up to 140 guests seated at tables. For events where guests are primarily standing, the venue can accommodate up to 300 people. Your final capacity may depend on the event layout and setup, so we will work with you to determine the best arrangement for your event.
Yes! There is plenty of parking surrounding The Blackstone. Paved parking spaces are located around the venue, with additional parking available across the street.
No! You are welcome to bring your own décor and rentals. We also offer a variety of décor and rental add-ons if you would prefer to have The Blackstone provide items for your event.
